These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the PortTask website and platform operated by PortTask Systems. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Enterprise customers may have additional terms in their agreements

1. Account Terms

When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any laws or regulations; (b) infringe on the rights of others; (c) transmit malware or harmful code; (d) interfere with the operation of the Service; (e) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems; or (f) collect data about other users without consent.

3. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PortTask Systems and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Your data remains yours, and we claim no ownership over the content you submit to the platform.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PortTask Systems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

5. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
